Nitra experienced a fusion of genres and human destiniesSpäť na zoznam
The motive of the festival is to draw attention to the life of minorities and foreigners in Slovakia in the spirit of the slogan “Get to know the world we have at home.”
As part of the project [fjúžn] on the move also visited Nitra and brought the stories of migrants who live among us. Iraqi student Mirna, who travelled to Nitra from Erbil, Iraq, via the camp in Humenne, showed those interested her favourite places in Nitra, such as the Castle Hill or the well-known pub under the Agates, during her walk.
The Forum Theatre performance offered an interesting format during which the audience could get directly involved in the play and deal with conflict situations that foreigners in Slovakia have to face. At the end of the festival, visitors could listen to a concert of JazzLab Trio, which includes Italian double bassist Enea Bari. The concert took place in the newly opened cultural space bod.K7 in the pedestrian zone.
